Belgians most popular company buyer

Faced with a foreign takeover, most Dutch company owners would prefer to be bought by Belgians, according to research by Nyenrode University for the Financieele Dagblad.

Some 36% of those polled opted for the Belgians, 29% for Germans and 22% for the British.
Employees, however, would prefer a German owner, followed by a Belgian and then Scandinavian.
