Aegon aims for 10% profit growth

Insurance group Aegon is aiming for annual profit growth of 10% in its underlying result until 2012, the company announced on Monday. In 2007 growth was 4%.


To achieve its aim, Aegon plans to reduce its dependence on its US activities, to sell off under-performing areas of its business and to introduce new products and mergers.
