Advocate general on trial for bribery
The public prosecution department is to prosecute its former advocate general Jan K for taking bribes, forgery and insurance fraud.
Jan K, (58) formerly Amsterdam’s chief fraud officer and head of the organised crime division in Arnhem, was suspended last year after police raided his home. The trial begins on Monday.
