A2 to become a 10-lane highway
The A2 near Utrecht, one of the country´s worst traffic blackspots, is set to be expanded into a 10-lane highway, following a ruling by the Council of State, the country’s highest appeal court.
Local residents had protested about the expansion plans, fearing a deterioration in air quality.
