Shell pulls out of London wind farm
Shell is pulling out of a massive UK wind power project, the Financial Times reported on Wednesday.
The London Array scheme was set to be the world’s biggest offshore wind farm with 341 turbines producing enough power for a quarter of London’s homes.
Shell has a equal share in the project with Eon and Denmark’s Dong Energy.
Shell said it wants to sell its stake but declined to give detailed reasons, the paper said.
