Opta fines firms for spam
Telecom watchdog Opta has fined two Dutch companies a total of €510,000 for sending spam, reports Monday’s NRC Handelsblad.
It is the highest fine to date. The companies had been offering consumers unrequested home working jobs under the name ‘home working central’.
