Extra holidays for older workers are to be targeted by social affairs minister Piet Hein Donner as part of his efforts to make employing older staff more attractive to companies.
While not prepared to ban the extra days off, which are included in a wide range of pay and conditions agreements, Donner said they make older staff more expensive to employ and should be phased out.
