Controversial tv reality soap De Gouden Kooi (the golden cage) has been won by the competitor known as Jaap, who spent 451 days in the luxury villa and takes home €1,351,000.

Jaap won votes by pledging to give half of his winnings to a charity but later recanted, saying he would spend it on building an internet tv career.
