Fewer cinema goers in 2007
The number of people going to the cinema in the Netherlands fell 5.4% last year to just over 22 million, according to figures from the European Audiovisual Observatory in Strasbourg.
The most popular film in the EU last year was Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix which was watched by over 28 million people. No Dutch films were among the top 20 most-watched films in the EU.
