EU culture prizes for Hoorn, Rotterdam
The restoration and revamp of the Van Nelle factory in Rotterdam and a citizens initiative to preserve Hoorn’s historic town centre have won European Commission prizes for cultural heritage projects.
The Van Nelle coffee, tea and tobacco factory has been converted into offices and an events centre.
