Diesel price rise to go ahead
Plans to add three cents to a litre of diesel from July 1 will go ahead as scheduled, despite transport industry protests, junior tax minister Jan Kees de Jager said on Thursday.
The price of diesel in the Netherlands is similar to that in surrounding countries so there was no question of transport firms being forced out, De Jager said.
