Credit crisis tempers DSB mortgage growth
DSB Bank failed to achieve its aim of a 3% share of the Dutch mortgage market and is still hovering at just under 2% because of the US credit crisis, the Financieele Dagblad reports on Tuesday.
DSB plans to issue long-term bonds to bolster its equity now it is no longer able to sell packages of mortgages to third parties, the paper said.
