Corporate Express hit by US economy
Office supplies group Corporate Express saw net profit almost half to €8.5m in the first three months of this year, partly due to the weak dollar and the US economic downturn.
Turnover was down 5.5% at €1.36bn.
The company is currently fighting a hostile takeover bid from US peer Staples.
