Some 11% of women and 6% of men get homesick while on business trips abroad, according to new research into business travel by insurer Europeesche Verzekeringen.

Half of business travellers miss their partner, 32% their children and 5% their pet. Some 35% of business travellers add on a couple of days to a trip for tourism, the survey found.
