Brothel owners hit out at hotel prostitution

Dutch brothel owners have lwritten to a number of hotel chains protesting at the way they turn a blind eye to illegal prostitution, Trouw reports on Thursday.

Sex trade lobby group VER claims hotels knowingly rent out rooms to prostitutes where they receive customers and make no effort to verify if the woman is illegal, has been traffiked or is paying tax.
VER says this illegal trade is damaging their legal industry.
