Zwitserleven chief to head Aegon Nederland

Marco Keim (45) has been appointed the new CEO of insurer Aegon Nederland and will take up the post from June 1.

Keim has headed insurer Zwitserleven since 2002. The Dutch unit was recently acquired by SNS Reaal from Swiss Life.
Keim succeeds Johan van der Werf who announced in January he is leaving the company after 26 years.
‘We have set ambitious growth targets for the Dutch market and we have every confidence that Marco is the right person for this position,’ Alexander Wynaendts, who will take over as Aegon’s CEO later this month, said in a statement.
