Three more soldiers injured in Afghanistan

Three Dutch soldiers were injured in a roadside bomb attack on the southern edge of the Balluci valley in Afghanistan on Thursday evening.


The wounded men have been transferred to the military hospital at Kandahar, the defence ministry said. Two of them suffered light injuries, said the defence department but it declined to give further details.
This is the fourth such attack within a week. In total, 12 people have been wounded. The most seriously injured soldier lost both legs and is in a coma at in Utrecht. The defence department said on Thursday he is still in a stable but critical condition.
