Randstad, the world’s number three staffing agency on Wednesday made a formal offer for Dutch peer and the world’s fourth biggest temporary employment agency Vedior.

The cash and shares combined offer is worth some €19.22 per share and is supported by the Vedior board.
Randstad already owns some 15% of Vedior shares and says it will deem the takeover to have succeed if 66% of the shares are tendered. The offer runs until May 9.
