Parliamentary Labour leader resigns
MP Jacques Tichelaar has resigned as chairman of the parliamentary Labour party (PvdA) for health reasons.
Tichelaar underwent a multiple heart bypass operation at the beginning of this year. He expects to resume his duties as an MP in June.
