More money for green power

The subsidy for onshore wind power, solar panels and biomass is to be increased by €120m to €1.4bn for the period up to 2015, according to Labour energy spokesman Diederik Samsom in today’s Financieele Dagblad.

He says this is the conclusion of discussions with the economic affairs minister on Tuesday.
However the government will not be able to formally announce the rise until the traditional spring budget review later this month.
