Killer’s parents face compensation claim
The parents of a 25-year-old murder victim are demanding compensation from the parents of her killer, the Volkskrant reports on Wednesday.
The parents of Nadia van de Ven have already received €15,000 in funeral costs after a lengthy court case.
Compensation is the next logical step, lawyer Bas Martens tells the paper.
Phone taps revealed that the killer’s parents knew their son had murdered the student and that they gave him €900 to help him escape.
