Half Dutch homes are lived in by tenants

Just over 50% of Dutch homes are now privately owned, the national statistics office CBS said on Wednesday.


But 80% of Amsterdam houses and 72% of Rotterdam homes are rented out. Student cities Delft and Groningen are in thrid and fourth place.
Rural areas have more owner occupiers.
