Ex-Unilever chairman gets British title

Antony Burgmans, former chairman of the Anglo-Dutch food-to-detergents company Unilever for seven years, is to be awarded an honorary title (Knight Commander of the British Empire) by the British ambassador in The Hague.

The title is for Burgmans’ ‘work as a global an business leader and his commitment to environmental sustainability,’ the embassy said in a statement. It refers in particular to his global initiatives in support of sustainable fishing.
