Dutch Rail wins timetable prize
Dutch Rail (NS) has been awarded the international Franz Edelman prize for its new timetable which uses four computer systems and boosted the number of trains and reliability of Europe’s busiest rail system.
The award, made in Washington on Monday night, is for innovative operations research.
