Dutch experts head for Suriname crash

A team of Dutch forensic experts and aircraft engineers left for Suriname on Friday morning to help identify the victims of Thursday’s air crash in which 19 people were killed on an internal flight.

Queen Beatrix and prime minister Jan Peter Balkenende have sent their condolences to the former Dutch colony’s president Ronald Venetiaan.
