D66 rises again in polls

The Liberal Democratic party (D66) continues to rise in popularity and would take 11 seats in the 150-member parliament if there was a general election today, according to the latest Maurice de Hond poll. The party currently has three seats.

D66 leader Alexander Pechtold has received considerable praise in recent weeks, especially for his tough approach to anti-immigration MP Geert Wilders.
