Amsterdam forgets 200th anniversary

Amsterdam city council forgot to celebrate the city’s 200th anniversary as the Dutch capital, local paper Parool reports.

Louis Napoleon, declared king of the Netherlands by his brother, the French emperor, moved to the city on April 20, 1808.
