Akzo Nobel ups ICI synergy forecast
Chemicals concern Akzo Nobel announced on Tuesday it expects its merger with British peer ICI to result in more synergy than expected.
It is now forecasting annual cost savings of €340m, rather than the €280m reported earlier. The biggest savings are expected in the decorative paints division.
