The Tefaf antiques and fine arts fair in Maastricht which ended on Sunday was one of the most successful ever, attracting 73,245 visitors, the organisers said.
A 70-carat yellow diamond priced at about €7m was among the last big sales at the fair.
During the preview a €1.2m diamond necklace was stolen from one of the stands. Three people were arrested but the necklace was not recovered.
