Relay swimmers set world record
The Dutch women’s relay swimming team set a new world record in the 4×100 freestyle at the European Championships in Eindhoven on Tuesday night.
The team – Inge Dekker, Ranomi Kromowidjojo, Femke Heemskeert and Marleen Veldhuis – shaved almost two seconds off the previous record, completing the distance in 3.33.62.
The men’s relay team took bronze.
