Police in the Rijnmond region have begun placing photographs of armed robbers on a special website in the hope of catching more crooks.

‘The robbers are often young. Their friends are at home on the internet and they can help us,’ a police spokesman told the AD newspaper.
Earlier the force put photos of youngsters who vandalised property during the New Year celebrations on the internet. The action led to five arrests, the spokesman said.
