The VU university wants to build a new campus on the Zuidas business district in Amsterdam, reports Monday’s Volkskrant.

The new complex would be 100,000 square metres bigger than the VU’s present location and would not only house the university, but also offices, homes, theatres, restaurants and scientific organisations connected with the VU.
In addition, the polytechnic college InHolland would move its 10,000 students to the new location.
