Farmers’ income up almost 5%
The income of Dutch farmers rose 4.9% in 2007 compared to a year earlier which is slightly lower than the European average increase of 5.4%, said the European statistics body Eurostat on Tuesday.
The rise is the result of higher prices for meat and agricultural products, said Eurostat.
