Business services sector slowdown
Turnover in the business services sector grew less strongly in the second half of 2007 than a year earlier because of staff shortages, says national statistics office CBS on Wednesday.
Nevertheless turnover in the sector was up 10% in the second half of last year, said the CBS. Temp agencies and computer service firms did particularly well but advertising bureaus booked a 1% decrease, it said.
The number of job vacancies in the business service sector rose further to 48,000 at the end of last year, 5,000 more than in December 2006, said the CBS.
