Unilever pensioners take court action
Food-to-detergents concern Unilever faces legal action over plans to no longer increase pensions in line with consumer inflation, the Financieele Dagblad reports on Wednesday.
The paper says the company’s pensioners’ lobby group VUG will go to the company court because of plans to change the way pensions are calculated.
This could eventually lead to a 12% fall in pensioners’ purchasing power, VUG spokesman Ube Toolens tells the paper.
