Resistance museum celebrates heroines
Amsterdam’s resistance museum is staging a major exhibition on resistance heroines Hannie Schaft and the teenaged sisters Truus and Freddie Oversteegen.
‘They were extremely active and not afraid to use violence,’ a spokesman said. Schaft was shot dead just before the end of the war.
