Repeat offenders to lose driving licence

Drivers who repeat serious traffic offences will lose their licences, alongside those who drive while drunk, MPs agreed on Thursday.

Drivers caught using drugs, driving dangerously fast or committing other serious offences for the second time within five years will now also have their licences confiscated.
Ministers said they will amend the law to incorporate the changes as soon as possible.
