The Citotoets, three days of multiple choice tests for children in their final year at primary school, begins today.
Around 154,000 pupils, 85% of the total, will sit the tests in 6,300 schools. Today’s questions are on spelling and arithmetic.
The results of the test are used to determine what sort of secondary education children go on to.
