No speedy decision on Schiphol noise

The current system for measuring noise nuisance around Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport is only understood by a handful of experts and needs to simplified, transport minister Camiel Eurlings told MPs on Wednesday evening.


Eurlings said he hopes a decision over a new system can be taken before the end of the current cabinet period in 2011 but admitted this would not be ‘an easy task’.
