More cats and dogs get dental care

The number of cats and dogs going to the dentist rose 40% last year, says pet insurer Proteq Dier & Zorg.


The market has grown so much that the company has introduced a special auxillary policy for animal dental hygiene. Some 10% of clients have signed for the extra cover.
