Military police force sacked 54 officers

A total of 54 military police officers have been sacked over the past year for failing integrity checks, the Telegraaf reports on Wednesday.


The offences ranged from drunk-driving to the possession of cocaine and other drugs.
The military police force (Marechaussees) has a workforce of 6,500. In 2006, 35 officers were fired.
