Iraq chemicals supplier faces €2m fine
The public prosecution department is demanding businessman Frans van Anraat hand over the €2.2m which he earned from selling chemicals to Iraq under Saddam Hussein’s regime.
Last year Van Anraat was sentenced to 17 years in jail for supplying chemicals to Iraq which were used to make poison gas.
