House prices rise, sales down
House prices were an average of 4% higher in January this year compared to a year earlier, said national statistics office CBS on Thursday.
But the growth rate has been slowing down on a year-on-year basis since September, the CBS added.
The number of houses sold fell 9% to 12,000 in January this year compared with January 2007.
