Government is not listening: poll
The Dutch government is not listening to the man in the street according to seven out of 10 respondents to an AD newspaper poll.
Half of them disagree with urban renewal policy, 65% are against the introduction of road pricing and 60% think the Uruzgan mission should not have been continued.
However, 82% agree with the introduction of a tax for environment-unfriendly cars. The amnesty for asylum seekers and the café and bar smoking ban are also popular, the poll showed.
Overall the government received six out of 10 for effort.
