Dutch footballers beat Croatia 3-0
The Dutch football team kicked off the 2008 European Championships with a well-deserved 3-0 victory over Croatia in their warm up game in Split on Wednesday evening.
National coach Marco van Basten told reporters he was happy with the performance of his team but could not say why the team’s luck had turned following a series of poor matches. ‘That’s football,’ he told reporters.
