Advisory body rows about role of workers

The government’s social and economic policy think tank SER is divided about giving workers more say over corporate policy, reports Monday’s Financieele Dagblad.

The final report on the issue is due to be discussed on Friday. SER is made up of union, employer and crown appointees.
The points of disagreement include asking the government to campaign heavily for the setting up of pan-European works councils and the need for new laws on the role of supervisory boards.
