A brands saw strong growth in 2007 with turnover of the 100 biggest brands increasing by 5.2%, according to research from IRI published on Friday in Food Magazine.
Campina headed the list for the sixth year running with turnover of €374m, followed by Marlboro (€270m) and Douwe Egberts (€269m).
IRI director Ronald Laureijsen told the magazine that the ‘healthy’ concept had stimulated A brand growth and can be partly attributed to the advice of diet guru Sonja Bakker.
