No charges for Wilders placard arrests
The public prosecution department has decided not to bring charges against 11 demonstrators arrested at the weekend for carrying placards featuring anti-immigration MP Geert Wilders.
The posters show Wilders’ head on a cigarette packet with the words ‘extremist’ and describing Wilders as being a danger to public health.
Amsterdam mayor Job Cohen was among a number of people who queried the arrests.
