Blaricum and Laren have overtaken Bloemendaal as the towns with the most expensive houses, according to new land registry figures.
The average house in Blaricum now costs €803,400 and one-third of the houses sold there last year cost over €1m.
The cheapest homes are in Delfzijl, Kerkrade and Pekela (Groningen) where the average price is just €150,000.
