More women in schemes to find work
Over 225,000 unemployed people were taking part in a reintegration project offered by local councils to help them find jobs at the end of June 2007, reports national statistics office CBS on Wednesday.
More women (125,800) particiapted in the reintegration projects, which offered training, work experience placements and childcare provision, said the CBS.
More than half of those involved in the scheme were over 40 and people from ethnic minorities accounted for around 50% of the total.
